GET STARTED WITH THE TREADMILL

Do not forget to spare a few minutes each day at your favorite gym to do the cardio/sculpt session. Now it works like this. Hop on the treadmill with each of your hand holding a 3 to 5 pound-dumbbell. Next, set the speed to brisk walk. As you walk on the treadmill, do a one-minute standing triceps kickbacks, front laterals, side laterals, triceps extensions, biceps and should presses one after another. This practice can get your heart pumping right. It is advisable to do it two to three times per week.

IMPROVE YOUR RUNS

The next goal that you need to do just right is to strengthen the way you do your runs. By adding wall sits at the end of your run, you can optimize the strength of your glutes, hamstrings and quads. At the same time, you also improve your endurance and speed. To add more challenge to your wall sits, you can practice the habit of lifting your left heel followed by your right heel and then the two together right after.

UTILIZE A REPORT CARD

Keep your self motivated with the use of a fitness report card. Your fitness report card should contain your improvements and performances in the area of muscle conditioning, cardio, attitude and flexibility. You should define your goals and then put a grade for your actual performances. When you become aware that you are improving, you will want to do more.

HAVE A BREAK

Do not think that you can achieve your goal with having to be up to it all the seconds of your life. This should not be the case. Giving yourself breaks and then getting back to actual work immediately after is just a sign that you have gained disciplined, that you know what you want to achieve and become and that you have actually made fitness and exercise a part of your life. Breaks happen during holidays and other unexpected schedules. When they come, do not be very disappointed.

To become fit is not an easy for sure. There are a lot of people who have made the try and then have not obtained the success. But there is a way by which you can make a difference.
